The Science Behind Cavi Daddi
Ultrasonic cavitation, also referred to as ultrasound cavitation, uses low-frequency sound waves to create a vacuum-like effect that helps break down stubborn body fat. This non-invasive technique effectively targets localized fat and cellulite. The process causes fat cells to break down into glycerol and free fatty acids. The body absorbs the glycerol while eliminating the fatty acids through the urinary and venous systems. Popular in beauty salons and medical facilities, ultrasonic cavitation has become a widely recognized method for fat reduction and body contouring in the beauty industry.

Which areas of my body can benefit from ultrasonic cavitation? The answer varies from person to person. Ultrasonic cavitation is designed to target and reduce localized fat, so it can be applied to any area of the body that has excess fat you wish to remove. Common areas include: Abdomen Flanks Thighs Arms
-
How is the fat excreted from the body after a treatment? After the fat is removed from the treated area by the lymphatic system following radio frequency or ultrasound cavitation, it enters the bloodstream and is treated like regular dietary fat: Case 1: If you're in a calorie deficit due to diet and exercise, the fat is oxidized (burned) in your organs and muscles. It is then converted into carbon dioxide, which you exhale, and water, which you excrete through urine (a basic biological process). Case 2: If you're in a calorie balance or surplus, the fat will be stored in other fat cells throughout the body, and a small amount may be deposited back into the original fat area. In both cases, the fat is effectively removed from stubborn fat or cellulite deposits. Ideally, you would want to completely eliminate this fat from the body, as in Case 1, by combining the treatment with a calorie deficit achieved through diet and exercise.
-
Will I feel pain during the program? You may feel a slight warmth or tingle with the cavitation probe. It is painless, which is acceptable. If you feel any discomfort lower the intensity. If you experience any issues discontinue use and consult a your doctor on further use.
-
Why does cavitation produce noise? You might notice that the cavitation probe generates a sound while in use. This noise is actually the sound of ultrasound. The ultrasound waves pass through the skin at a frequency of 40kHz, targeting fat cells in the dermis. The high-frequency vibrations cause these fat cells to rupture. In some cases, patients may experience a sensation similar to tinnitus, which is linked to the micro-vibrations of the fat cells. Therefore, hearing noise during ultrasonic cavitation therapy is completely normal. If you find the sound uncomfortable, you can reduce the intensity of the wand.
-
Can I do cavitation while on my period? It is not recommended to use cavitation during menstruation, as ultrasound can increase blood circulation and it can lead to more menstrual bleeding. To avoid causing uncomfortable to your body, do not have cavitation treatment during menstruation.
-
How many treatments do I need? For at-home ultrasonic cavitation, it's recommended to start with 6 to 12 treatments to see noticeable results. These treatments are typically spaced about 1 to 2 weeks apart, with a 72-hour gap before targeting the same body part again. This allows your body time to process and eliminate the fat cells effectively. As with any treatment, consistency is key, and you can adjust your plan based on your goals and progress over time.
